The Jamaica Business Fund (JBF) signed a grant agreement with Sandals Foundation on behalf of local artisan supply chain members on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at the offices of the Jamaica Business Fund. The scope of the project is to upgrade the products of selected suppliers of handicraft and gift items targeted at the high-end tourism retail industry, so that the beneficiary firms in the supply chain can increase sales and the Anchor firm can reduce the number and value of gift items currently being imported. The supply chains will improve their outputs, decrease exports and substitute imported goods with the aid of the grants.
